The BingM SM-200 is a high-accuracy, multifunction digital refractometer for measuring the sugar content of liquid samples. The sample is placed in the sample tank, the refractive cover is closed and, at the press of the READ button, the instrument displays the result within 3 seconds.

Its TFT color screen shows sugar content (0–58 %, resolution 0.1 %, accuracy ±0.2 %) together with the refractive index (1.3330–1.4200) and the sample temperature (0–40 °C), as well as battery level and standby time. Automatic temperature compensation and a high-precision infrared sensor, resistant to high and low temperatures, keep readings fast and reliable, while the ZERO key provides zero calibration.

The handheld, lightweight body fits in a pocket, is water and dust proof, and switches off after 60 seconds without operation to save power. Typical applications are fruit and juice testing, candy and cookie production, sugarcane processing, ice-cream making, fabric dyeing, CNC cutting fluid and laboratory testing.
