The TM-902C is a portable digital thermometer that works with any standard Type K (NiCr-NiAi) thermocouple probe. It reads in 0.1 °C steps between -199.9 and 199.9 °C and 1 °C steps above, on a 3½-digit LCD with open-sensor and low-battery indication, and runs on a single 9 V battery.
The TM-902C is a compact handheld thermometer for Type K (NiCr-NiAi) thermocouples. It fits standard Type K probe sockets, so it can be used with any standard Type K sensor, from the super-response TP-01 bead probe to hand-held probes for surfaces, semi-solids and liquids.
Readings appear on a low-power 3½-digit LCD with automatic polarity display. Between -199.9 and 199.9 °C the display shows a decimal point (0.1 °C resolution); from 200 °C upward it reads in 1 °C steps. When the sensor circuit is open the display shows "1", and a battery symbol warns when the 9 V battery needs replacing.
The TP-01 bead thermocouple is rated up to 250 °C (300 °C short-term). For higher-temperature surface, semi-solid or liquid measurement, use a hand-held Type K probe such as TP-02A or any equivalent Type K (NiCr-NiAi) probe.
