These test strips give a quick reading of free (available) chlorine in sanitizer solutions over a range of 0–200 ppm. They are designed specifically for restaurants and food-service kitchens that need to verify the strength of their chlorine sanitizers, for example in three-compartment sinks, as part of routine hygiene checks.
The test takes under 10 seconds: immerse the strip in the sample and remove it immediately, hold it level without shaking off the excess sample, then compare it with the colour chart on the vial between 5 and 10 seconds after removing it. The long plastic strip keeps your fingers away from the solution and prevents staining.
The strips are intended for chlorine sanitizer solutions only; they are not designed for testing pool water or tap water.
