The Lutron YK-37UVSD measures UVA (365 nm) and UVC (254 nm) irradiance with two separate probes in 2 and 20 mW/cm² ranges. It logs readings in real time to an SD card that opens directly in Excel, and also works as a Type K/J thermocouple thermometer.
The Lutron YK-37UVSD combines UVA and UVC light measurement in one meter. With its UVA probe it measures long-wave 365 nm ultraviolet irradiance under a UVA (black light) source, and with its UVC probe it measures short-wave 254 nm ultraviolet irradiance under a UVC source. Two ranges are available, 2 mW/cm² and 20 mW/cm², with resolutions of 0.001 and 0.01 mW/cm² and an accuracy of ± (4 % FS + 2 dgt).
The meter is a real-time SD memory card data logger with a built-in clock and calendar. The sampling time can be set from 1 second to 3600 seconds, and a manual logging mode allows position numbers 1 to 99 to be assigned. No extra software is needed: the SD card is simply plugged into a computer and the measured values, with their date and time, open directly in Excel.
The separate probes, built with an exclusive UV sensor structure in a metallic housing and a cosine correction filter, allow the UV light to be measured at the optimum position. The instrument also works as a Type K / Type J thermocouple thermometer.
