Lutron MG-3002 AC/DC Magnetic Meter

The Lutron MG-3002 is a wide-range, general-purpose magnetic meter for DC and AC magnetic field measurement in industrial, mechanical, material, electrical and laboratory field use. Readings are shown in milli Tesla (mT) or Gauss (G) on a dual-function LCD.

The DC function covers 300.00 mT and 3,000.0 mT ranges (3,000.0 G and 30,000 G), and the AC function covers 150.00 mT and 1,500.0 mT ranges (1,500.0 G and 15,000 G) at 50 Hz / 60 Hz. Accuracy is ± (5 % rdg. + 10 digit) for DC and ± (5 % rdg. + 20 digit) for AC. The separate probe uses a uniaxial Hall sensor with a temperature sensor built into the probe head for automatic temperature compensation.

The meter runs on a 006P DC 9V battery or a DC 9V adapter input, and its RS232/USB PC serial interface allows connection to a computer through the optional cables.
