The Benetech GM816 is a compact handheld digital anemometer that measures air velocity and air temperature at the same time. Air velocity is measured from 0 to 30 m/s with a resolution of 0.1 m/s and an accuracy of ±5%, while the built-in NTC thermometer covers -10 °C to +45 °C with a resolution of 0.2 °C and an accuracy of ±2 °C.
The LCD shows the air velocity, its unit, the temperature and a Beaufort scale bar together. The instrument displays the current, maximum or average air velocity, offers five velocity units (m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots, mph) and °C/°F temperature selection, and indicates wind chill and low battery.
Weighing only 52 g and measuring 40 × 18 × 105 mm, the GM816 is powered by a single CR2032 3.0 V battery, which is included, and draws approximately 3 mA.
